Before the All-Star break, the Golden State Warriors put together one of their best stretches of the 2023-24 campaign, winning six of their last seven and eight of their last 10.
Following their strong performance before the All-Star break, the Warriors moved to the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference with a 27-28 record.
With the end of the All-Star break looming, John Schuhmann of NBA.com unveiled a new set of power rankings. Before play resumes on Thursday, the Warriors landed at No. 18 overall in Schuhmann’s set of power rankings, holding the same position they had last week.

Coming out of the break, the Warriors will be tested by two strong Western Conference opponents in their first week, welcoming the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets to Chase Center during a three-game homestand that starts on Thursday.
The Warriors will start their final stretch of the regular season when they host LeBron James and the Lakers on Thursday night at San Francisco’s Chase Center. The Warriors and Lakers are set to tip off at 7 p.m. PT.
