NBA Playoffs: Hottest Sneakers Of The Week Revealed!

Luka Doncic is playing basketball

As the 2024 NBA playoffs progress, players are showcasing their creativity not only on the court but also with their sneaker choices. In a highly competitive Game 3 between the Dallas Mavericks and the LA Clippers, Mavericks guard Luka Doncic stood out with his exceptional offensive performance. Doncic, at 25 years old, played a pivotal role in leading the Mavericks to a 101-90 victory over the Clippers, giving his team a 2-1 series lead.

Doncic's impact extended beyond the basketball court as he arrived at the American Airlines Center in his eye-catching 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, generating buzz among fans and spectators. This arrival was a prelude to the unveiling of his new signature shoe, the Jordan Luka 3. Doncic introduced the 'Midnight Racer' colorway of his signature shoe on the same night and went on to lead the Mavericks in scoring with 22 points.

Meanwhile, other NBA stars also made waves with their sneaker choices during the week. LeBron James paid tribute to his illustrious career by wearing a black and white colorway of his LeBron 21 'Prime Year' sneakers, commemorating his 21 seasons in the NBA and honoring NFL legend Deion Sanders. James later sported a red and white colorway of the same shoe during Game 3 of the Lakers' series against the Denver Nuggets.

In another matchup, the New York Knicks faced off against the Philadelphia 76ers, with Joel Embiid delivering a remarkable 50-point performance to secure a win for the 76ers. Despite the loss, Knicks guard Brunson shined on the court, scoring 39 points and dishing out 13 assists while wearing a special edition Nike Kobe 6 PE 'Fiesta Theme' inspired by DeMar DeRozan's tenure with the San Antonio Spurs.

The Miami Heat set a franchise playoff record by making 23 three-pointers in their Game 2 victory over the Boston Celtics. Tyler Herro led the charge with 24 points, including 18 from beyond the arc, while sporting a unique gold-trimmed black colorway of Sabrina Ionescu's signature 'Sabrina 1' shoe, which has gained popularity among NBA players.

Lastly, veteran player Tucker showcased his eclectic taste in sneakers by opting for a classic all-black pair of the Nike Kobe 3 during warmups of Game 2 against the Mavericks, adding a touch of nostalgia to the playoff atmosphere.
