NBA fans were stunned Joel Embiid wasn’t ejected after slamming Nic Claxton with a dangerous kick

Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid shocked NBA fans when he stayed in Thursday night’s playoff game against the Brooklyn Nets after kicking center Nic Claxton.

The altercation happened early in the contest when Embiid and Claxton both went up in the air at the same time. They both went toward on the ground, but Embiid actually fell. As Claxton steadied himself, he stepped over Embiid and the latter was not having it.

Embiid kicked Claxton as he stepped over him, which earned the 76ers player a flagrant 1 foul for the incident.

Let’s just say NBA fans had absolutely no idea how Embiid wasn’t ejected, especially after the Draymond Green stomping incident the other night earned an ejection during the Golden State Warriors-Sacramento Kings game.

NBA fans were incredibly confused as to how Embiid stayed in the game.
