LeBron James put on a show during the Lakers’ Sunday night clash against the Rockets, helping Los Angeles pick up a 105-104 win.
James did it all across 40 minutes on the floor, scoring a game-high and season-high 37 points, to go with six rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.
The NBA’s oldest player showed no signs of slowing down during the dominant performance, as he once again got the upper hand in his matchup with Dillon Brooks, even hitting Houston’s forward with the “too small” gesture after getting a basket.
James shot a remarkable 14-of-19 from the field, including a late three and a game-sealing free throw as the Lakers improved to 8-6 on the year. Over his past three games, the 38-year-old is averaging 33.3 points, 9.6 assists, and 7.0 rebounds.
NBA fans were awestruck by James’ big outing on Sunday, and they marveled at his greatness on social media in the aftermath.

Definitely did not expect LeBron to look even better than he did last season even before the injury. This dude is insane man.

this aint the same LeBron that we saw in the WCF hoopin on one foot. Other guys need to step it up so he won’t be running on fumes when the playoffs start!

Do we all agree that this has been the best version of LeBron since 2021 pre injury?

I’m still taking a healthy LeBron James over ANYBODY in a 7 game series. ANYBODY!
