Dillon Brooks and his bashing of LeBron James during the Grizzlies-Lakers first-round series has been one of the biggest storylines of the NBA playoffs thus far.
The latest turn was a bad one for Brooks as Memphis suffered an embarrassing loss in Game 3 on Saturday, and he was kicked out of the game after he hit James in the groin.
After the game, Brooks found two groups of people to blame for his ejection—the media and fans.
For real.
Brooks told ESPN: “The media making me a villain, the fans making me a villain, that just creates another persona on me.”
NBA fans rightfully crushed Brooks for that comment:
Yes, it’s everyone else’s fault. Way to take no responsibility lol https://t.co/mUrdo3l0ki
