‘NBA 2K20’ Locker Codes: 3 New Giveaways Include A ‘Thank You Kobe’ Pack

Three new NBA 2K20 locker codes were released on Thursday night, but fans should be cautious before inputting one of the free offers.

Here is a look at the codes leaked by popular NBA 2K MyTeam YouTuber Shake and Bake, but read on to learn some of the issues with the “Thank You, Kobe” code:

The one in question offers you one of three different kinds of “Thank You, Kobe” packs. These are obviously meant as a tribute to the late basketball great who passed away last month.

However, when I input the leaked code “8KOBE24” I received four consumable items and a blank Ruby card. The card appears to have disappeared and hasn’t been added to my collection.

Others on Twitter are reporting the same thing, so you might want to wait for an official announcement before inputting that one.

This might have happened because the card isn’t ready for release. I’m hoping the card becomes available in the next couple of days.

The other two codes, which are related to Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons and Utah Jazz high-flyer Donovan Mitchell worked without issue. A new Diamond Simmons is now in my collection, and the Mitchell ball drop gives you access to one of the two Diamond versions of the player available in the mode.

Thankfully, I got the one from the Moments of the Week 5 packs. It was the last one I needed to complete the set and to obtain the Pink Diamond Zach LaVine card.

Keep an eye out for more details on the “Thank You, Kobe” packs as it becomes available.
