'NBA 2K19' Player Ratings And News: Donovan Mitchell's Rating And Render Revealed

It’s Donovan Mitchell’s turn to make his NBA 2K19 debut.

The runner-up in the NBA’s Rookie of the Year race to Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons had his render and launch rating revealed by 2K on Wednesday. Here is a look at the screenshot:

Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell has the same rating as Jayson Tatum in NBA 2K19.

Mitchell checks in with an 87 overall, which is the same as Boston Celtics Jayson Tatum. Some might take umbrage with that since Mitchell technically finished second in the ROTY race while Tatum was third. That’s true, but it doesn’t mean one has to be a point higher when it comes to overall ranking.

Perhaps we’ll see Simmons coming soon and we’ll have the third player to add into the 2K rating debate.

 

It would appear Mitchell’s regular season was far more impressive than Tatum’s, likewise in the postseason, for as long as the Jazz’s run lasted, Utah’s young guard looked to have been the better player. Something tells me we’ll be debating which of these three players is the best for years to come.
