Naughty Dog is ‘working hard’ to fix The Last of Us on PC

It’s no secret that The Last of Us Part 1‘s PC port is a buggy mess, and developer Naughty Dog knows that fans are unhappy about it.

“We know some of you have not experienced the Naughty Dog quality you expected,” reads a company statement on Twitter. “Our team is working hard to resolve issues currently preventing some of you from experiencing the game to ensure it reaches the quality level you expect and deserve.”

Naughty Dog then explains that The Last of Us Part 1 will receive a hotfix patch on Tuesday, April 3, 2023, addressing numerous issues like jittering on mouse-controller camera movement, several instances of crashing, and more. Additionally, a more-extensive patch will arrive later this week – though the date for that one is still unspecified.

“We also encourage players to ensure you are using the latest Nvidia, AMD, and Intel graphics drivers,” Naughty Dog continues.” Our team, and our dedicated partners at Iron Galaxy will continue to investigate and address known issues to deliver the great The Last of Us Part 1 experience you expect.”

It’s surprising that The Last of Us Part 1‘s PC port came out half-baked, especially since other first-party PlayStation games like God of War and Spider-Man had stellar conversions.
