NatWest bank closures: Which London branches are closing?

(Jonathan Brady/PA) (Picture: Jonathan Brady / PA)

Over the years, the way many people bank has seen a significant change with most customers opting to deal with their affairs online.

As such, the high street has undergone some major changes as many banks have chosen to close their branches.

NatWest is one such bank that has recently announced it will be closing more branches across the UK, which includes 21 sites in England and two sites in Wales.

This will be on top of the other 43 closures the bank announced in October last year.

NatWest previously commented about their bank closures, saying: “As with many industries, most of our customers are shifting to mobile and online banking because it is faster and easier for people to manage their financial lives.

“We understand and recognise that digital solutions aren’t right for everyone or every situation and that, when we close branches, we have to make sure that no-one is left behind.

“We take our responsibility seriously to support the people who face challenges in moving online, so we are investing to provide them with support and alternatives that work for them.”
