Natwest and RBS banking apps crash leaving customers unable to login

NatWest and RBS banking apps appear to have gone down this morning leaving customers unable to access their accounts.

The technical issues started around 8.20am with almost 2,000 people complaining about the service, according to outage tracker DownDetector.

More than 1,700 NatWest customers are saying they can't log into their online bank accounts, while over 200 people who bank with RBS are struggling.

82% are saying the problem is with mobile banking, while 17% say online banking is affected.
