Fans took to social media during ITVs Soccer Aid tonight (June 12) to show their love for Nottingham's Vicky McClure and her "new bestie." McClure acted as one of the England XI coaches alongside top coaches during the charity event.
Former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was one of them, but it was her friendship with decorated Chelsea Women's coach Emma Hayes that got people talking. Before kick-off, Soccer Aid host Alex Morgan asked McClure is she had any new "besties" to which she replied "Emma" before going on to talk about her banter with Emma and Harry Redknapp.
Fans noticed this too and took to Twitter to share their love for the newly-formed duo. One excited fan said: "Love seeing @Vicky_McClure on soccer aid!! What a diamond."
Another commented: "Vicky McClure is a national treasure #SoccerAid." One Twitter user said: "Emma Hayes and Vicky McClure together is just great!"
This Twitter user was over the moon to see the two together, saying: "Just flicked over to ITV to see Alex Scott interviewing Emma Hayes and Vicky McClure on the touchline. What a time to be alive."
In the end, World XI beat England 4-1 on penalties.
