Passengers travelling between Edinburgh and Glasgow have been warned of delays, after a person was hit by a train.
National Rail confirmed someone was hit between Glasgow Queen Street and Croy, with the line closed. Services could be cancelled or diverted for several hours.
It's thought that services will return to normal by 9.30pm. The person involved has not been named.

A spokesperson for National Rail said: "A person has been hit by a train between Glasgow Queen Street and Croy. As all lines are currently closed, trains may be cancelled or diverted until approximately 21:30.
"If you’ve been affected by what happened on the network today, there is always someone to talk to. You can contact the Samaritans on 116 123 from any phone for a confidential chat."
