The winning numbers for tonight's huge £191million EuroMillions jackpot have been announced.
Tonight’s National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers are: 09, 17, 29, 38, 39 and the Lucky Stars are: 07, 10.
Tonight’s National Lottery Thunderball winning numbers are: 01, 08, 27, 31, 34 and the Thunderball is 03.
For the Millionaire Maker Selection, one UK millionaire has been created and the winning code is: ZJZC16652.
Tonight’s massive EuroMillions jackpot has rolled over though after no-one won, and the incredible prize money remains on offer in Tuesday’s draw (July 19).
If one UK winner bags the entire sum, they’d become the biggest-ever UK EuroMillions winner.
As EuroMillions is now at its cap, any money that would have gone into the jackpot will now boost prizes in the next winning prize tier. This means many multi-millionaires could be created, as happened in last Tuesday’s draw.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “Tuesday will be massive with a sizzlingly sensational estimated EuroMillions jackpot of £191million up for grabs. Here’s hoping that we’ll be celebrating a record-breaking UK winner alongside record-breaking summer temperatures! Think of all the good that a win of this size could do. Players should get their tickets early to be in with a chance of winning in this amazing draw.
“Thanks to National Lottery players, more than £30million is generated every week for Good Causes across the country. This supports everything from local projects making a difference where you live, to our nations' athletes at the Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
For those who have been lucky enough to win some cash in the past, what they've spent it on may surprise you.
The poll of real life National Lottery big winners revealed that 37 per cent of them have indulged in a ride-on lawnmower, with 34 per cent admitting to spending between £2,000 - £5,000 on the lust-list item.
Among the lawn loving winners are Wayne and Desiree Home whose luck changed in 2015 when the Kent couple scooped £1million on the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker.
While the ride-on mower didn’t rank as high on their wishlist as a soft-close toilet seat, which was their first purchase after winning, the ritual of mowing the lawn with the nifty tool has bought Wayne nothing but joy and pleasure
Wayne said: “I have to be honest, before the win a ride-on mower wasn’t on my wish list, top of the list at the time was a motorbike but when I sit back and survey my perfect lawn, it does bring me almost as much joy as a motorbike might have!
“Mowing the lawn is now something of a ritual for me, a ritual which takes place for two hours, alternate weekends, for seven months of the year! I start out with the top section, making sure I get right into the corners before stopping for a drink or spot of lunch, then I move onto the larger bottom section."
The EuroMillions jackpot reached cap on July 8 and can’t get any bigger.
The EuroMillions jackpot is capped once it reaches 230 million euros.
When the jackpot is at its cap, players matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star number can expect bigger prizes. This is because any money that would have gone into boosting the jackpot will be shared among players in the next prize tier with winners – most likely players matching the five main numbers plus one Lucky Star number.
Once it reaches the cap and assuming it continues not to be won, the jackpot will stay at 230 million euros for a further four draws until it has to be won in the fifth draw on Friday, July 22.
In a EuroMillions ‘Must Be Won’ draw, if no ticket matches all the five main numbers and two Lucky Stars numbers, the entire jackpot prize will roll down into the prize tier where there is at least one winner – likely to be the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number prize tier. This means we could see many multi-millionaires created.
Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk.
Players can also buy and check tickets in retail. Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.
