Nathan Patterson is confident Everton can get the points they need to escape relegation without having to rely on results elsewhere going for them.
Manchester City are one victory away from retaining the Premier League title after despatching Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon. Ilkay Gundogan was the star of the show, the midfielder scored twice as well as setting up record-breaker Erling Haaland.
The defeat leaves Sean Dyche's side one point above Leeds United in the Premier League table. The Blues travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday before closing out the season at home to Bournemouth a week on Sunday.

“We are just looking forward to the games,” Patterson said when asked about his side’s position in the table.
“We are making sure we are focused on the things we do and as long as we do our job and do our best I am sure will be fine.
“All season we've concentrated on ourselves, trying to not look at the table and anyone around us. We just have to make sure we are focused and everyone is on the right page.”
The Scotland international was handed his first Premier League start since January when Everton faced Brighton & Hove Albion last Monday. The Blues claimed all three points with a huge 5-1 victory at the Amex.
“You always have to be ready any time you are called upon and I feel I've done that in the last couple of games,” Patterson said when asked about his return to his side's starting line-up.
While reflecting on his side’s defeat to City, the former Rangers man said: “It's obviously tough to take. We knew it was going to be difficult but we need to dust ourselves down and look towards the next game.
“We had a game plan, pressed them up high and made some good chances. They are a side that can create a lot of chances in different ways and they were first-class.”
