Natasha Jonas wrote her name into boxing history after becoming unified world super-welterweight champion following a unanimous decision victory over Patricia Berghult.
Jonas claimed the vacant WBO crown with an explosive stoppage victory over Chris Namus back in February, and produced another impressive display here as she went the full 10 rounds with Berghault.
Fighting in front of a home crowd for the first time in three years, Jonas put on a show at the M&S Bank Arena as she and Berghault gave it their all in a bid to become a unified world champion.

Jonas was the more aggressive throughout, and rocked the unbeaten Swede with a number of crunching shots during a pulsating 20 minutes of boxing, which had the M&S Bank Arena on its feet.
Such was the dominance of Jonas in the middle rounds of the bout, Berghault headed into the final two minutes knowing she needed a strong finish But instead, Jonas continued to pile on the pressure and caught the Swede with a slick left before cleverly navigating her way to the final bell and the WBC crown.
"I honestly didn't think it could get any better than Manchester, tonight blew me away, I'm so humbled,” Jonas said in the immediate aftermath.
"I always try to carry Liverpool with the best of me, we stick together, we love each other and support each other."
Before she added: “There are two other belts to get, there's always the opportunity to become a two-weight, three-weight world champion.”
