Natasha Hamilton revealed her children were so excited about the news that she was expecting another baby that one of them swore.
The pregnant Atomic Kitten singer, 40, shared the news of her pregnancy with her husband Charles Gay in February.
They are expecting to add a little girl to their family, which already includes Josh, 20, Harry, 18, Alfie, 12, and eight-year-old Ella, whom she has from previous relationships.
She wanted to film a sweet video where she announced the pregnancy to her children but she didn't get the right reaction.
"So the plan was I was going to be taking a picture of them saying ‘say cheese’ and then say ‘we’re having a baby!’ and when I said it Josh, my eldest, swore straight away, so I couldn’t post it on Instagram," she explained.
“He said a swear word, but in a nice, surprised way.”
She added to OK! magazine : “Ella cried and my other boys were like ‘what?!’. But the thing is, everyone knew we’d been trying for quite a while. Everyone was just happy [at the news].”
At the end of March, the singer revealed the gender of her "miracle" baby.
She took to Instagram to share pictures of her family being showered in pink confetti.
The star gushed: “Well here it is…..we finally found out if I’ve been baking a boy or a girl……
“Absolutely buzzing! What a gorgeous moment with the kids, heart totally full xxx."
The Scouser paid tribute to her husband in February when she told fans she was expecting, writing: "7 years of loving you, 17 months of marriage. We finally got our little miracle.
"Baby Gay due September 2023. We really couldn’t be any happier xxx."
She told us the couple's baby is a "little miracle" as she opened up about their relationship.
The star, who was 16 when she joined Atomic Kitten, said: “This is something we’ve both wanted for such a long time and we just feel blessed. It has brought more of a paternal side out in Charles towards me.
“He’s really looking after me, he’s taken over the cooking because it was making me feel bad. It feels very much like the two of us in it together, which is lovely.”
