Natalie Portman seemed to wipe away tears while out at a park with her husband Benjamin Millepied, following his alleged affair with a younger woman.
The couple were pictured having a seemingly heated conversation over the weekend, with the 42-year-old Black Swan actress seeming distressed during their exchange.
At one point during their conversation, Natalie sat forward on the bench and had a tense look on her face. She then rested her head on the top of the bench.
It's the first time the couple have been seen together since reports that Benjamin, 46, had cheated on his wife of nine years with 25-year-old climate activist Camille Étienne.
Both Natalie and Ben opted for casual outfits for their outing, with Natalie dressed in black denim shorts and a white T-shirt.
Benjamin, who celebrated his birthday on Saturday, decided on a similar outfit and wore a pair of blue denim jeans and a white vest top.
Their outing comes amid reports Benjamin is 'doing all he can' to save their marriage and earn Natalie's forgiveness after his affair.
A source has said the affair is over and the couple are still together while trying to overcome their marital issues.
"It was short-lived and it is over. He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together.
"Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy," the source told People.
Natalie and Benjamin tied the knot in 2012 and they share two children together - 11-year-old son Aleph and six-year-old daughter Amalia.
Reports suggest Natalie and Benjamin’s marriage has been on the rocks since November last year.
However, just days before news broke of the alleged affair, the couple packed on the PDA as they made a trip to Cannes Film Festival.
