Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova has tied the knot with Antoine Arnault, one of the heirs to the LVMH fortune. Vodianova shared a picture and video from their Paris wedding captioned “OUI!”, which saw the pair emerge from a registry office hand in hand as newlyweds.
As with many engaged couples, Vodianova and Arnault’s wedding plans changed over the course of the pandemic. According to British Vogue, they were due to have a bigger wedding at the Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers Abbey earlier this summer.
Instead, they opted for a smaller ceremony shared to Vodianova's Instagram where the couple were showered with white rose petals by mask-wearing attendees.
Vodianova chose a belted cream Ulyana Sergeenko Couture dress, which featured a collar, power shoulders and lavender embroidery. She opted for a minimal green and white bouquet.
Arnault, who is the CEO of celebrity-favourite Berluti, was also seen grinning in a sharp blue suit. Complete with a dapper white pocket square and shiny black shoes, he also carried what appeared to be their marriage documents.
The couple first began dating in 2011, following Vodianova’s divorce from Justin Portman, and they have two children called Maxim and Roman together. (Vodianova also has three children from her marriage with Portman.)
Arnault spoke with W Magazine about their relationship previously, saying it had been a "superb roller coaster ride."
They first met on set when Vodianova starred in a 2008 Louis Vuitton campaign and Arnault recalled, "I remember seeing her and my jaw sort of dropped internally. I mean, of course she’s beautiful, but she has something undefinable. There’s an aura about her.”
Vodianova shared the pair were engaged on New Year’s Day this year, saying that 2019 had been “beautiful and very memorable.” The pair appeared to have been on holiday together and she flashed her diamond engagement ring as Arnault winked to the camera, captioning it, “Can’t wait to celebrate next year with our loved ones.”
