Darwin Nunez makes his full Premier League debut for Liverpool as Nat Phillips starts in defence against Crystal Palace.
A muscle strain for Joel Matip means he sits out the visit from Patrick Vieira's side as he joins Ibrahima Konate on the injured list at centre-back. That has handed an opportunity to Phillips who is given the nod ahead of Joe Gomez on the bench.
It's Phillips' first Premier League start since a game with the same opposition in May 2021 as he starts at centre-back next to Virgil van Dijk for the first time in the top flight.

In midfield, James Milner captains the side in the absence of Jordan Henderson as the veteran lines up in the engine room next to Harvey Elliott and Fabinho.
Nunez leads the line down the middle as Roberto Firmino joins Diogo Jota on the list of attacking absentees for Jurgen Klopp, with the Brazilian understood to be missing as a precaution. There's also a place for young Bobby Clark on the substitutes' bench alongside fellow teenager Stefan Bajcetic.
Liverpool : Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Elliott, Milner; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.
Subs : Adrian, Gomez, Keita, Tsimikas, Henderson, Carvalho, Clark, Bjacetic, Van den Berg.
