Giovanni van Bronckhorst has named his Rangers side to face Napoli as he bids to cause a major upset in Naples and keep European football hopes alive and kicking.
The Light Blues are out Champions League qualification contention after suffering four defeats in four in the section. They've conceded 16 goals to date, scoring just one with those defeats including Liverpool hitting them for seven at Ibrox in the Battle of Britain, Ajax putting four past them in Amsterdam and Napoli scoring three times at Ibrox.
But despite the painful defeats on their return to Europe's top table, they are still in contention to land third spot in the group with Dutch side Ajax three points ahead heading into the matchday five fixtures. Form and fluid performances have escaped Rangers of late with Livingston securing a point in Govan at the weekend to create a four point gap between Van Bronckhorst's men and Celtic at the league summit while they picked up a narrow 1-0 win over Dundee in the Premier Sports Cup.

Napoli on the other hand have won four out of four in the section including hammering Liverpool on their own turf. Domestically, they sit top of Serie A with nine wins and two draws from their opening 11 games.
Speaking ahead of the clash in Naples, Van Bronckhorst said: "It's important to have character.
"We have to not be fearful, to try and reach the level we can and see if we get a positive result. We know their quality, but it is a chance to have a performance against a really good team like we did at home.
"Game management is very important. We have to be defensively solid and find moments to attack. If we only defend for 90 minutes, you are just waiting for the damage to be done.
"We need to make sure we are still in the game in the second half if we are to get a positive result."
