Reports suggest Manchester United will have to equal the British transfer record to sign Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen, 23, continues to earn rave reviews for his performances at Napoli and the Italian side have won 11 games on the spin in all competitions. Nigeria international Osimhen has played his part in that run, with five goals and an assist from his nine appearances so far this season.
His overall record for the Serie A table-toppers reads 33 goals in 71 matches. It's a return that has alerted Europe's elite clubs and United are thought to be in the market for his services.

However, as they continue to shop for potential Cristiano Ronaldo replacements, the Old Trafford outfit have been told they would need to pay nine figures to land the highly-rated forward. As per Italian publication Tuttosport, the asking price for him has been set at no less than £100million.
Manchester City splashed out that same figure for Jack Grealish last summer. Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in Osimhen and his contract runs until 2025. He helped his side triumph over Jose Mourinho and his Roma side with a stunning winner on Sunday night.
Elsewhere, reports from transfer expert Simon Phillips - as per this article from Caught Offside - claim United want to sign Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie with many other clubs linked with a move. McKennie, 24, signed for the Italians from Schalke last summer and has been capped 34 times by the United States.
He operates as a box-to-box midfielder with reporter Ben Jones (CBS Sports Golazo) suggesting Newcastle, Leeds, Everton and Arsenal have all sent scouts to watch McKennie play.
