Napoli reveal Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia transfer stance amid Chelsea interest

Napoli duo Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia look set to attract significant interest from several of Europe's top clubs in the summer. The attacking pair have been in ridiculous form for Napoli this season each being involved in 19 Serie A goals - Osimhen has contributed 18 goals, three assists while Kvaratskhelia has put up 10 goals and nine assists.

While also sitting 15 points clear of their nearest challengers in Italy, Napoli have placed themselves in a good position to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals. Luciano Spalletti's side beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 in Germany on Tuesday evening, with Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia, who missed a first half penalty, both contributing to the goals.

The Blues are in desperate need of a natural striker to solve their goal scoring woes and Osimhen is seen as the perfect option, although they look set to face stiff competition. According to the Mirror, Todd Boehly will rival Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain for the target man this summer. The report insists that Napoli will demand around £100million for their striker.

Kvaratskhelia, meanwhile, was loosely linked with a move to Chelsea prior to the January transfer window with Liverpool also keeping tabs on the Georgian forward. Christian Emile, one of the 22-year-olds agents, revealed on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel in November that the winger is likely to cost around €100million (£87million) when he is eventually sold.

Following Napoli's win in the Champions League, talk surrounding Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia was understandably high. However, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis was on hand to quickly quell interest from any club arriving with a bold statement about the duo's future, although he did not rule out an eventual departure.

"I am very good at making contracts," he told TNT Sports. "So when they come to me, they are blocked, so keeping them here won’t be difficult. However, never say never. Sometimes there are offers you can’t refuse, so you never know. To me, we’ll see them shine for a long time."
