Naomi Campbell and Rita Ora lead stars stunning on Fashion Awards 2022 red carpet

The British Fashion Awards 2022 saw celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Rita Ora, Amanda Holden, Lily James and Maya Jama flaunt their stylish outfits on the red carpet.

The event, which was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday, recognises and celebrates designers and leaders in the fashion industry, from individuals to brands and businesses, who have broken new ground in fashion over the past year through their creativity and imagination.

The well-regarded event is widely attended by celebrities, artists and tastemakers alike, and is a chance for event-goers to pay homage to the industry by flaunting their fashion sense on the red carpet.

Naomi Campbell, 52, was one of the attendees and the famed supermodel wowed in a draped silver sequin dress, which flaunted her slim figure.

Despite the eye-catching silver sparkles, the style of the floor-length gown was unfussy, with some ruching and a diagonal cut out at the chest, and an attached cape which flowed off the model’s shoulders.

Letting the dress do the talking, Naomi’s dark hair was kept straight and down her back, away from the front of her gown.

Adopting the “less is more” motto, singer Rita Ora, 32, posed in a sheer slip dress, with the see-through mesh material exposing her lingerie. The top of the dress featured a red low-cut bra, with two metal hearts linking the wide-set cups together.

Attached to the bra, the sheer material hung down to her ankles, showing Rita’s red thong underneath.
Despite her daring dress, the hitmaker got tongues wagging with her unusual face makeup, having stuck skin prosthetics around her eyes, to give herself a wing-shaped mask.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, 51, also opted for a daring look, wearing a red PVC clinging gown, which accentuated her curves. The tight-fitting floor length ensemble featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, exposing the actress’s red harness bra underneath.

Amanda wore her blonde tresses straight and slicked back from her face, and finished off the look with a full-face of glam make-up, with fluttery lashes and glowing skin.

Lily James on the other hand, chose a maximalist design. The actress, 33, also opted for a sheer panel to her dress, which exposed her legs. The white gown featured a silver sparkly bodice, with the white mesh lower part of the dress fanning out into a fishtail ruffle around her calves. The ensemble was adorned with ruffles around the back and on the neckline.

While Lily wore white, Maya Jama, 28, wore black. The presenter donned a black strapless dress which flaunted her ample cleavage. A band around her waist accentuated her curves, as the ruched skirt draped over her hips with a diagonal slash to her thigh. Maya accessorised the dress with a silver bejewelled necklace and a wide-brimmed black hat, tilted on an angle.
