Nando’s has launched its 2022 Christmas menu, and fans are calling for one new festive addition to be made a permanent fixture. For those wanting to add some extra heat to their Christmas dinner, the popular chicken chain has added three new items to its menu, including the return of a fan favourite and a controversial twist on a festive staple.
This winter, Nando’s is offering Macho Sprouts, a twist on their Macho Peas. The sprouts will be served shredded with mint, parsley and chilli, in a move that will surely prove divisive.
It has also announced a new seasonal spice, the sweet and citrusy Maple and Orange. The limited-edition spice will go down well for any fans of Nando’s sweeter specials like Peri-tamer, Garlic BBQ, or last Christmas’ Spiced Clementine.

Making a comeback is the fan favourite Peri-Peri Chicken Gravy, which comes “packed with PERi-PERi and chicken-y goodness.” The gravy can be ordered as an extra to pour on anything and everything from the Nando’s menu.
Chicken lovers are united in their joy at the gravy’s return, with some calling for it to be a made permanent fixture on the menu. “@A21Who tweeted: “Nando’s gravy is elite.”

Writing on their Facebook page Nando's fan Daniel Campbell added: "Gravy needs to be made permanent." And Paie Abbott-Bridges said: "We need to go for the peri peri gravy it’s so good"
The new Christmas menu is available now to eat-in, for takeaway or delivery across England, Scotland and Wales.
