Nando's have announced that a brand-new menu item will land across all UK restaurants next week - with eager fans only having to wait a couple of days to make the most of the exciting addition.
Fans of the South African chicken chain have been calling for a particular side dish to be added to the menu for a number of years, and it looks as though they've finally had their prayers answered.
Teasing the new addition, Nando's took to Twitter to give fans a cryptic riddle to solve in video form. The clip itself displays a 'loading' message below four chillies, before a macro close up of the item is revealed.

The Mirror reports that the caption of the post read: "F_ _ l _ L _ _ _ ed C _ _ _ _," and a number of fans flocked to the comments section to take a stab at the correct answer. And many expressed delight that the new item may well be fully loaded chips.
One wrote: "Fully loaded chips??? Good LORD," while another, echoed: "FULLY LOADED CHIPS!?"
Others however, were left less than impressed - protesting for the comeback of the coveted red pepper dip. One added: "Bring back red pepper dip then we’ll talk," while a second, uttered: "That doesn't spell RED PEPPER DIP though does it?!?"
A third, went on: "Weird way of spelling “Red Pepper Dip Is Back”" with a fourth, writing: "R_E_D P_E_P_P_E_R D_I_P."
Nando's is yet to confirm what the actual item is - but it will be available across all Nando's sites from June 6 - so Tuesday next week. If it is fully loaded chips - then it is not hard to guess what the dish will entail.
Fully loaded chips tend to come with some kind of meat and cheese coating along with a plethora of other bits on top like crispy onions, or bacon. Nando's snapshot image shows what appears to be chips, and some spring onion and with this being Nando's, you could probably expect a gastronomical concoction of spicy sauce loaded atop it.
