Nando's diners thrilled as restaurant launches Fully Loaded Chips on new summer menu

Nando's has launched its summer menu - and much to the delight of diners, it features the long-awaited Fully Loaded Chips.

The restaurant chain finally announced the news on Tuesday after spending days teasing customers on social media about the arrival of the highly anticipated side dish. Nando's have now confirmed that Fully Loaded Chips will be available to tuck into from today, June 6, alongside another brand new dish and the return of an old favourite spice.

Inspired by a viral hack invented by Nando's fans on social media, the Fully Loaded Chips inclides PERi-Salted Chips and pulled chicken in your chosen spice, topped with melting cheddar cheese, spring onions, smoky PERi-Tamer sauce and a creamy dressing. A dish made to share, this loaded feast is priced at £8 and is a staple of the restaurant's summer menu.

Another new addition to restaurants across the UK is the Pepper & Feta Dip, available for a limited time only this summer. Priced at £4.50, this dish comes with roasted peppers, tomatoes and garlic, whizzed up and topped with crumbly feta, served with warm pita triangles to get dipping.

And last but not least, Nando's has re-introduced the Garlic BBQ baste to the menu due to popular demand. Last seen in 2021, the guest spice is sticky, smoky and sweet with an extra kick of garlic and signature PERi-PERi.

Nando's has told diners to "watch this space" with more news of its summer campaign set to be announced in due course, which will also see the brand host a series of activities to "get the nation fully loaded". And in the meantime, news of the Fully Loaded Chips is sure to go down a storm with customers if their reactions to the restaurant's teasing last week is anything to go by.

After Nando's hinted at the new dish on Twitter earlier this month, fans were barely able to contain their excitement. "If Nando's had loaded fries I don't think I'd eat anywhere else again," one person begged - and the restaurant responded with a cryptic eyes emoji, quickly gaining more than 15,000 likes.

"This is huge," one thrilled diner said.

"I'm never going to financially recover from this," someone else joked.
