Chocoholics unite, today is World Chocolate Day 2023 - a day in which no doubt millions of Brits will be tucking into their favourite sweet treats .
The annual celebration was initially introduced back in 2009, and people are always encouraged to participate by bagging their favourite guilty pleasure to enjoy.
Chocolate initially landed in Europe in 1550, and since then there have been a number of brands coming and going - household favourites to more unique experiments which left as soon as they landed.
