There are few things finer than a tasty chocolate bar as a treat. Whether it be an afternoon pick-me-up or a bar with a nice cup of tea on a break from work, they always seem to help cure the munchies.
Chocoholics are certainly not short on choices these days either. Although some chocolate bars have sadly disappeared from our shelves, whether we're craving caramel or chocolate-covered biscuit there is plenty to go at.
Chocolate initially landed in Europe in 1550, and since then there have been a number of brands coming and going - household favourites to more unique experiments which left as soon as they landed. We all have our own personal favourites though - from a classic Mars bar through to the Swedish Daim bars.
