Naked Attraction seeking celebrity to strip off for five-figure sum

Channel 4 dating show Naked Attraction is looking to recruit a famous face to bare all as it looks to shake up its format. According to The Sun, any celebrity who steps up to the task could land a princely 'five-figure sum' for their birthday suit appearance.

The show presented by Anna Richardson, sees singletons given five people to choose from, judging them on their naked bodies from the bottom up.

A source told The Sun: "Show bosses are determined to get a famous person to don their birthday suit for the next run, and they're prepared to offer big money to land someone - we're talking a high five-figure sum." But despite the lure of the cash the show's producers have their "work cut out" to secure a celebrity willing to appear in the buff.

And the show has already shelved plans for a one-off celebrity spin-off programme due to difficulties attracting celebs so instead is hoping for landing a reality star to appear solo alongside other contestants. The source added: "Bosses know that they have their work cut out and it's going to be a struggle as many celebs are too worried it would harm their career."

Viewers have already had a taste of a celeb contestant as former Big Brother star Lauren Harries appeared on the show. But tempers flared as Lauren failed to flicker contestant Rigby's love interest and she stormed off the set.

Host Anna Richardson had invited Rigby to hug Lauren after the rejection, with the former Celebrity Big Brother star snapping: "No. Stay away. You could have had the goods but you are not having them now. You're not going to get my backside now."

Lauren, who found fame as a child for her antiques knowledge, later appeared on TV and has been vocal about trans rights after herself undergoing sexual reassignment surgery in 2001.

The new series of Naked Attraction continues on Channel 4 on Thursday (October 6) from 10pm. Viewers can catch up on previous episodes through streaming service All4.
