Nagpur violence: Bombay High Court stays demolition of properties of 2 accused

Mumbai: The Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court on Monday stayed the demolition of the houses of Nagpur violence accused persons and also slammed the authorities for 'high-handedness'.

The houses of Faheem Khan was razed by the police using a bulldozer on Monday morning before the high court passed the order in the afternoon.

Subsequently, authorities paused the demolition of the illegal portions of the other accused Yusuf Sheikh's house. 

Faheem Khan and Yusuf Shaikh had filed a petition against the government's demolition decision.
