Naga Munchetty Fans Stunned as She Announces Surprise UK Tour for Debut Book

BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty has surprised fans by announcing a brand-new UK tour, just as she wraps up her debut book, It’s Probably Nothing: Critical Conversations On The Women’s Health Crisis.

The 50-year-old broadcaster took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the exciting update with her 250,000 followers, revealing she’ll be hitting the road to talk about her deeply personal and powerful new project. “I am delighted to let you know that I’ll soon be on tour around the UK to talk about my upcoming book, #ItsProbablyNothing,” she posted. “Looking forward to seeing you there!”

The post was met with an outpouring of support, with fans calling the news “delightful” and applauding her for using her platform to spark important conversations, reported Bristol Live.

Naga’s book, which is set to be released later this month, dives into the failings of the healthcare system when it comes to women’s health. It’s fuelled by her own experience living with adenomyosis—a painful gynaecological condition where the lining of the womb grows into its muscular wall.

She first opened up about the condition in 2023, speaking candidly on her BBC Radio 5 Live show about the toll it had taken on her daily life. She described living in constant pain and the frustration of being repeatedly dismissed by doctors—an experience many women across the UK have related to.

Now, with It’s Probably Nothing, Naga is tackling those issues head-on, aiming to amplify voices and challenge the status quo around how women’s health concerns are treated. The tour is expected to bring that mission to life, offering audiences the chance to hear her speak in person about the stories and struggles that shaped the book.

It’s a bold and unexpected move from one of the BBC’s most recognisable faces—and one that’s already got people talking for all the right reasons.
