Nadine and Sarah met on ITV talent show Popstars back in 2002, when their band Girls Aloud was created.

Sarah died in September 2021 after revealing that she had been diagnosed with cancer which had spread to other parts of her body.

Posting on Instagram on Sunday, Nadine said: "This day next week we will be coming together in memory of our sweet angel Sarah to hopefully raise as much money & awareness as possible for people suffering with cancer!!

"Hopefully you can come join us in person or online. Have a look at Race for life for Sarah & see what you can do.

"Always only give what is comfortable for you & your situation!! See you there!! @cherylofficial @kimberleywalshofficial @lilcola "

The Race For Life For Sarah will take place on Sunday, July 24 in Hyde Park, London at 11am.
