Nacer Chadli hailed ‘complete’ Han-Noah Massengo at Monaco amid Leeds United link

Former Bristol City talent Han-Noah Massengo has already impressed the likes of Thierry Henry and former Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli, amid links to Leeds United. It was the former Arsenal striker who handed the Monaco academy graduate his Champions League debut during his time at the Ligue 1 club.

The then 17-year-old made his competitive bow against Atletico Madrid alongside some of Europe's most aspiring talents. Kephren Thuram who is reportedly a target for Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Newcastle United and Chelsea defender Benoît Badiashile also featured in that game and have gone on to big things.

"There was a good second period from Massengo who was shy at the start ,” Henry said at his post-match press conference. However, Belgian winger Chadli shed more light on Massengo's rise to the first-team.

"He's been training with us for a few weeks," he told footmercato. "He is a young player who has a lot of intensity in his game. I think he is complete, both with and without the ball.

"He has a good pass, good speed, good dribbling. With experience, he will go far . And that's all the harm we wish him!"

When asked about the introduction of the youngsters into the side, including Massengo, Chadli added: "It's good, there are a lot of young players who were able to show great things tonight, especially in the second half.

"You can see that the club has a future. They tried things, they weren't afraid. It shows the quality of the players of the Academy."

Massengo would leave Monaco to sign for Bristol City for a reported fee of £7.2million and spent four-years at the Robins. However, he's now become a free agent after leaving Ashton Gate and is a reported target for Leeds United.
