The official Star Wars website recently released a synopsis for Tessa Gratton's upcoming novel, 'Temptation of the Force,' due to be published on June 11, 2024. The synopsis hints at a dark time in Naboo's history, as the planet finds itself trapped within a space controlled by the notorious Nihil, a group of space pirates. Known as the 'Occlusion Zone,' this area isolates Naboo, cutting off communication and travel with the outside world.
The story follows Jedi Masters Avar Kriss and Elzar Mann, who were separated by the Nihil's Stormwall for over a year. Avar manages to escape from within the Occlusion Zone, reuniting the two Jedi. Although they are now physically together, their shared grief over failing to protect the galaxy from the Nihil still weighs heavily on their hearts. Determined to rally the Jedi Order and the Republic, Avar and Elzar remain resolute in upholding the principles of Light and Life.
To liberate Naboo and show that the Jedi are committed to defending those trapped behind the Stormwall, Avar and Elzar embark on a daring mission into Nihil space. The reunited Jedi are accompanied by fellow Jedi Knights Bell Zettifar, Burryaga, and Vernestra Rwoh. Their primary objective is to locate Marchion Ro, the dangerous leader of the Nihil, and turn the tide of the conflict once and for all.
