Naas General Hospital has imposed "strict" restrictions on those visiting patients in the hospital.
The rules have been introduced in the Kildare hospital to curb the spread of flu, RSV and Covid which led to a record numbers of patients waiting for beds across the country. Patients are limited to one visitor per day which can be no longer than 30 minutes. A statement from Naas General Hospital read: "Strict visiting continues at Naas General Hospital to protect our patients and staff and prevent the spread of infection."
