N'Golo Kante has already solved the prospective Chelsea owners' first contract mission at Stamford Bridge, should a bid prove successful. The 30-year-old, who sees his contract with the Blues expire at the end of next season, has all but pledged his future to the west London side with his latest decision.
Kante ignored Paris Saint-Germain's advances when they tried to sign him in January, rebuffing a move away from Chelsea. It's believed that the France international, who reportedly refused to answer calls from Mauricio Pochettino's side, has been subject to several approaches from Paris.
According to French outlet Le Parisien, club chiefs tried to convince the midfielder to finally make the move to the France capital, amid a time where Thomas Tuchel was nursing an injury crisis at Cobham. The report adds that Kante snubbed PSG because he's happy in west London, despite the ongoing takeover saga.

Kante's act of loyalty amid such uncertain times should be the final straw for prospective Chelsea owners that solves his future at the club. He sees his time at the Blues come to an end in June 2023 and, while his world-class displays should have already warranted a new deal, the Frenchman's devotion towards the club should be rewarded.
However, despite Le Parisien claiming that the number six is happy at Stamford Bridge, earlier in the season Spanish outlet Fichajes reported that the world champions would be keen on selling Kante if he enters the final 12 months of his contract. Though, now with a seemingly imminent takeover in place, the Frenchman will be hoping he has put enough chips on the table.
Kante has been central to Chelsea's success since he swapped the King Power for Stamford Bridge in 2016. The 30-year-old quickly grew into one of the sport's best players who could 'help every team in the world'.
Tuchel has often made his feelings for Kante known, hailing the tireless midfielder as a 'very special player'. Speaking to the press ahead of Chelsea's Boxing Day clash versus Aston Villa, the German spoke of his importance..
"He makes the difference because he's a very very special player. I've said it 100 times, and can repeat it another 100 times, there are no more words, it is outstanding quality that helps every team in the world."
