Tulisa Contostavlos has issued a grovelling apology just hours after N-Dubz sparked backlash after cancelling a show minutes before the curtain dropped.
The chart-topping trio who are currently performing on a sold-out reunion tour across the nation were due to perform at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena on Tuesday but after fans waited over two hours, they failed to make it to the stage.
At the time, The Mirror revealed the concert was brought to a halt due to "artist illness" and fans were forced to leave the arena after watching the support acts.
Some fans had travelled from as far as Wales to witness the dynamite trio perform their biggest hits including Strong Again and Playing With Fire.
Now, a concert-goer has spoken to The Mirror about the frosty atmosphere which took hold of the arena as a cancellation appeared on stage in place of the chart-topping band.
They said: "The atmosphere in the arena completely changed when the cancellation announcement was made with minutes to spare.
"Fans started booing in their thousands and lobbing pints around. It was chaos."
They added: "Everyone was so annoyed. Especially as Dappy was posting to Instagram that he wasn't feeling well on the night but we didn't get the news till the very last minute."
"They promised to reschedule the date but I'm not sure I'd want to see them again after this."
Taking to her social media, to speak to her 590,000 followers, after the gig ended in disaster, Tulisa, 34, issued a grovelling apology and explained the last-minute decision.
"I'm so sorry to the N Dubz fans in Nottingham tonight," she began.
"Please know we are trying to reschedule this show asap to make it work on same tour run & the date will be announced tomorrow morning."
The former X Factor judge added: "I promise you we did everything within our power to make tonight happen but we also didn't want to sell you short & not give you the best show you deserve.
"Love you guys & so sorry once again. See you soon."
Dappy has also expressed his sorrow, sharing a snap of the group on stage alongside the caption: "I'm so sorry Nottingham."
Meanwhile, in a statement from the group shared with The Mirror, they say they had been forced to cancel the show on "doctors orders" due to Dappy being "unable to perform".
They said: "We're so sorry we had to cancel the show tonight. We tried to do everything possible to make the show happen, but a doctor advised at the very last minute that Dappy was unable to perform and needed to rest tonight.
"We had to take this advice seriously and consider Dappy's health so that the rest of the tour can happen, which has so far been amazing.
"The O2 Arena show tomorrow (November 23) and the rest of the tour will still be going ahead. We will make a further statement after Dappy has seen the doctor again tomorrow morning.
"We're deeply sorry to all the fans who travelled to see us tonight and promise to make it up to you with a new rescheduled date for the show. Dappy, Tulisa & Fazer."
In a statement shared with The Mirror, the Motorpoint Arena said: "We're very pleased to announce that the N-Dubz show postponed from last night will now take place on Wednesday, 7 December 2022.
Seated tickets will remain valid for the new date but customers with standing tickets will have new tickets re-issued to them and only these re-issued tickets will be valid on the new date. f ticket holders are unable to make the new date, refunds are available at the point of purchase.
We’re very sorry that the show was cancelled last night due to Dappy's health. Contrary to reports, the show was not cancelled earlier in the day, but we announced the cancellation as soon as it was possible to do so.
Some reports on social media were wholly inaccurate. There was no major crowd disorder, the police were not needed nor present on site, and there was no criminal damage to any vehicles or the venue itself. In fact, despite their extreme disappointment and frustration, almost everyone behaved very well and we would like to thank our customers for their calm response. We look forward to seeing them and the band for a great show on 7 December."
