N-Dubz's O2 show goes ahead a day after band postponed Nottingham show last minute

N-Dubz took to the stage in London last night as part of their reunion tour, just a day after they postponed their gig in Nottingham moments before they were due to perform.

The group - which consists of Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer - have reformed following an 11-year hiatus and are now underway with their Back to the Future Tour in the UK.

They were however met with a backlash earlier this week after postponing their gig at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham just 'five minutes' before they were due on stage.

Furious fans, who had already been waiting in the arena, were told on Tuesday night it would be rescheduled due to "artist illness" after Dappy, 35 - whose real name is Costadinos Contostavlos - had been advised not to perform "at the very last minute" by a doctor due to his health.

A statement on N-Dubz's Instagram yesterday confirmed their concert at the O2 Arena would go ahead, with Dappy having shared he'd been given medication.

The trio took to the stage for their second night at the venue - having performed there earlier on the tour - and fans took to social media in their droves.

"What a night. @ndubz you were amazing," tweeted one fan. Another commented: "N-Dubz had me singing my whole heart out tonight, my childhood is now complete".

Tulisa has since shared some fan reaction to the gig on social media (tulisacontostavlos/Instagram)

A third wrote: "N-Dubz smashed tonight!! Had an amazing time!!" Another said the event was "special" and expressed excitement over seeing the trio perform again soon.

Tulisa, 34, reposted some clips on Instagram that had been shared by fans from the gig. Alongside one, in which her vocals were praised, she wrote: Thank you O2. Emotional."

Dappy teased yesterday, sharing what's believed to be a clip from their previous gig at the venue (dappy100/Instagram)

Another reposted clip saw an attendee write: "Didn't want it to f***ing end. F***ing best band in the world". One video had been accompanied by an emotional-looking emoji.

Dappy had confirmed they would perform in a video earlier that day. He said: "My voice is still not fully back but I took some antibiotics last night and quite a few different syrups.

"I started trying to sing a few notes today and I could. So then I said 'let's do it. let's do today's show [in London]'. I apologise to all the Nottingham fans again but the tickets are still valid and the show is getting rescheduled."

He also shared a clip on the platform that showed a packed arena, believed to be from their previous gig at the venue, and asked if fans were ready for the latest concert.

Dappy later uploaded a video after having arrived at the O2 Arena for the second time on the tour. He could be heard saying in the footage: "Voice or no voice I'm here".

The posts came after Dappy had previously posted a video in which he apologised to fans over N-Dubz postponing the gig in Nottingham, saying they were "terribly sorry".

Dapper said the award-winning group - who are known for songs like Playing with Fire - didn't want to do "half-baked" vocals and said he'd been told to undergo vocal rest.

In a statement, the group said: "We are so sorry to have let so many fans down in Nottingham, but we are pleased to confirm that the show has been rescheduled to December 7th. Tickets for last night are still valid for the new date."

N-Dubz are due to perform at the O2 Arena again tonight as part of their Back to Life Tour. They're set to visit cities including Cardiff and Newcastle in the coming weeks.
