N-Dubz Nottingham fans' fury as band plays O2 day after cancelled gig

Fans of N-Dubz have expressed their frustration after the band played the O2 Arena the day after cancelling their Nottingham gig at the last minute due to 'illness'. The London trio were due to perform at the Motorpoint Arena on Tuesday evening, November 22, but cancelled after their warm-up act finished their set due to one member, Dappy, reportedly being ill.

However, just one day later the band performed at a sold-out O2 Arena in London on Wednesday night. This prompted further anger by fans, who were frustrated by the initial cancellation due to the fact they had seen suggestions Dappy was sick via his social media hours earlier.

Reacting to N-Dubz' latest show, Paulette Edwards said on Facebook: "It amazes me how you can lose your voice then within one day get it back again they don't deserve fans." Following the cancellation, the band said they would return to Motorpoint Arena in December 7.

Zac Shaw commented: "I hope no one shows up at the rearranged concert." Paul Gilman added: "Wow recovered from flu and loss of voice in less than 24hrs, think we need to have Dappy’s doctor at our local surgery, that’s if you could get an appointment."

However, Kate Hassan, who attended the London show, said Dappy's voice was "struggling" towards the end. She said: "I see them in London last night and they were amazing. Everyone has different taste on music so will have different opinions, and his voice was struggling towards the end but he put on the best he could. They didn't dissapoint (sic)"
