Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has explained why he changed the face of a Leeds United fan in the picture he posted on social media on Sunday.
This was after the 28-year-old scored the Red Devils' opener in their 4-2 win at Elland Road, heading home from Luke Shaw's corner for his first goal of the season.
Bruno Fernandes doubled the visitors' advantage on the stroke of half-time after he latched on to Jadon Sancho's cross.
The Whites didn't give up and pulled one back through Rodrigo, before Raphinha got on the end of Daniel James' delivery to complete the comeback in dramatic circumstances.
However, Ralf Rangnick's side stepped it up a gear and re-took the lead as Fred fired the ball home, while Anthony Elanga made sure of the points on late.
The result leaves Leeds in 15th, just five points above the relegation zone ahead of a daunting-looking trip to Liverpool, while Man United have cemented their place inside the Champions League places.
It was a memorable afternoon for Maguire, who broke the Red Devils' set-piece hoodoo at the 140th attempt and he admitted after the game that it was a relief to score from a corner. After grabbing Man United's opener, Maguire celebrated towards the North West Corner of the stadium and performed a knee slide to boot.
Maguire posted a picture of the celebration on social media with the caption 'You Reds', but there was one subtle difference, including a photoshopped picture of another Leeds fan.
This was indeed one of Maguire's 'good mate' and he explained why he decided to make that change.
He said: "For everyone asking, it’s my good mate, a big Leeds fan. He was at the ground but not in the pic. He’s been giving us some stick all week so thought I’d add him in."
Maguire was in the thick of the action when the Whites fought back early in the second-half and admitted that they had to stick together during that moment.
He told Sky Sports: "The conditions in the second-half were really bad. The half we were defending was really waterlogged, so we came out at the start of the second-half and we tried to play as we did in the first-half.
"We’ve got to start the second-half better, they came right on top of us.
"Their first goal is really lucky and it gets them right back in the game and they scored a good goal and we had to fight back and stick together.
"It was old school, I think there was so many tackles, I’m sure it was good to watch but thankfully we came out on top."
