Mystery surrounds a missing mum who disappeared a week ago after rushing out her front door on her way to work.
Christina Lee Powell, 39, was last seen leaving her house just after 10.30am on July 5 after calling work to let them know she was running late, loved ones said.
The paralegal left her iPhone, Apple Watch and medication at home because she was in a rush to get to the office after the long holiday weekend, according to friend Lauren Leal.
She was driving a black 2020 Nissan Rouge, which also vanished, and never made it to work in San Antonio, Texas, US.
Police in San Antonio have launched a search for Christina and released the last known sighting of the mum hurrying out of her home in doorbell cam footage.
Ms Leal said: "The unknown is the scariest part. It is fear in my mind right now. It is hard to wrap our minds around where she might be, what could have happened."
Public appeals have been made for any information about Christina and her whereabouts.
Her mum Claudia Mobley said on Facebook : "If anybody has any information, please let me know. I love her and miss her. Keep us in your prayers.
"She left here Tuesday morning on her way to work. She never made it to work and we haven't seen or heard from her since."
Christina was wearing black trousers, a black top and carrying a white purse when she was last seen driving the black Nissan SUV with the number plate PYJ 8564.
The mum, who has at least two young boys according to social media, has blonde hair and brown eyes, stands at 5ft3 and weighs 8.2st.
She was married in 2013 according to Bexar County Records but her current marital status and custody arrangements for the boys were not immediately clear.
The mum shared a photo of herself and one of her sons in 2018 with a banner promoting awareness of domestic violence.
Her latest post on social media showed her two dogs Oliver and Chevy in a 'puppy update' on June 10.
"We just want you home," Leal told the local CBS affiliate.
"My fear is not ever knowing anything. I mean I think that would be the worst is spending the rest of my life looking for her. I will never give up."
Originally from Connecticut, Christina is a psychology graduate from the University of Texas in San Antonio according to social media.
Her mysterious disappearance came the morning after Independence Day when she was last seen leaving her home in a quiet suburban cul-de-sac of Apple Creek.
Detectives have classified her as missing and endangered and say the mum suffers from a medical condition that requires a doctor's care.
Nobody has seen or heard from the young mum since she was last seen that morning.
The 15-minute drive from her home to work covers roughly seven miles.
In the week since she disappeared, Christina's family and friends retraced her possible route looking for signs of a car crash and checked in with nearby hospitals and even the county jail.
But no clues have surfaced as to her whereabouts.
