Mysterious Images Have Appeared On TV Screens Across Fortnite's Map

Images of the Evil Lair that appeared in Fortnite’s fourth season have appeared on TVs across the game’s sprawling map.

This happened toward the end of Season 3 as well, when a strange emergency broadcast began playing on the game’s myriad television sets.

Here’s what the image looks like (via FortniteIntel):

This image has popped up on Fortnite’s in-game TVs.

Here’s a picture of the lair itself:

And here’s the image that showed up toward the end of Season 3, before the meteors began crashing down:

The emergency broadcast.

This isn’t the only change to the map, however. There’s also a new hologram that’s appeared near the rocket—just one more clue that things might end badly this season. Or at least with a bang.

A new hologram.

Previously we covered a leaked image of the special Blockbuster skin near the rocket tinkering around with what appears to be something similar to the holograph. Here’s that image:

The leaked Week 8 image.

So all of this points to an explosive end to the season, having to do with the villains setting off a rocket that will potentially create even more devastation across the map.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the rocket ends up destroying the hero base in Lonely Lodge and ended up reshaping that portion of the map. But there’s any number of possibilities. We’ll have to watch closely these next couple weeks.

If last season was any indication, Epic Games will be dropping plenty of clues and the fan theories will keep coming. Another exciting conclusion to a great season is in the works, and I find it remarkable how well Epic manages player hype in a game with no actual story (outside of Save the World.)

Find out how to solve all of Season 4, Week 7′s challenges here.
