Former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack became the second member of the newly created Jacksonville Sports Hall of Fame on Sunday night.

The new Hall of Fame, which is set to open this summer at the Community First Igloo, was created in part by the ECHL’s Jacksonville Icemen and seeks to honor athletes who not only made a difference in sports, but “also made significant impacts to the communities of Northeast Florida.”
Jack, 27, was the Jaguars’ second-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and started 82 games in six seasons with the team. He recorded 6.5 sacks, three interceptions, and more than 500 tackles for Jacksonville before he was released in 2022. He is currently a free agent after spending last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
During his time with the Jaguars, Jack earned the team’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award nomination for his work in the community. The linebacker awarded scholarships to Edward Waters College, a historically Black college located in Jacksonville, and did annual drives to provide children with schools supplies, clothes, backpacks, and shoes.
In March, former NFL quarterback and Jaguars tight end Tim Tebow was announced as the first member of the Jacksonville Sports Hall of Fame.
