The Cleveland Browns have their two huge defensive ends back together for the second year in a row. Last year, Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney provided bookend problems for offenses. While Garrett is the do-everything defensive, Clowney provided the strong, long defender to push the edge from the other side that the Browns want across from Garrett.
Sunday, Clowney agreed to return. The lure of playing with Deshaun Watson and Garrett was a big pull for Clowney. At the end of last season, Clowney said money would decide where he played next. Instead, his experience in Cleveland and Watson’s presence brought him back.
After having some fun on social media earlier in the offseason, Garrett posted about Clowney’s return after so long on the free agent market:

Like everyone, Garrett is just glad it is over and the team can now plan around the two former number overall picks terrorizing opponents.
