Myles Garrett day-to-day ahead of Rams matchup, Browns’ QB situation also up in the air

There are two key for the Los Angeles Rams to monitor this week, and we’re not talking about their own ailments. Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday’s loss to the Denver Broncos and isn’t certain to play against the Rams this weekend. Additionally, quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson sustained a concussion and is also uncertain to be available on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters on Monday that Garrett is considered day-to-day and that his MRI revealed no structural damage. As for Thompson-Robinson, it’s always difficult for a player to clear the protocol in only a week, so the Browns may have to start either P.J. Walker or Joe Flacco on Sunday.

Stefanski did seem optimistic about Garrett, so it’s very possible he’ll be available to play against the Rams. If he’s forced to miss the game, it would be a huge blow to the Browns’ chances, especially if they’re also missing their quarterback.

Dianna Russini did say the expectation is that Garrett will play, so it seems he’s on track to face the Rams.
