Malik Nabers didn’t find himself in the easiest situation as a top-10 pick in New York who has Daniel Jones as his quarterback. But through three games, the rookie receiver from LSU has lived up to the billing — and exceeded the loftiest expectations.
Even his opponents are showing respect in the middle of a game.
Nabers followed up his monster Week 2 performance with a two-touchdown game in Week 3 against the Browns. That effort included an acrobatic, spinning catch where Nabers was somehow able to get both feet in bounds. You don’t see many receivers — much less a rookie — make that catch. So, Browns star Myles Garrett had to give Nabers some credit during the game.

In a mic’d-up exchange from NFL Films, we could hear as Garrett said:
“Malik! You’re a bad boy. Keep doing your thing.”
Nabers responded, “Appreciate it. You too, sir.”
He’s out there calling opponents, “Sir!” You just know Nabers is about to become a favorite among NFL players.
