Mykhaylo Mudryk drops another cryptic social media message amid Arsenal transfer bid

Arsenal transfer target Mykhaylo Mudryk has dropped yet another cryptic message on social media amid links surrounding a move to north London. football.london understands that the Gunners have made a first bid for the Ukraine international worth up to £55million ahead of a potential deal in January.

Mudryk was a reported target back in the summer, but Shakhtar Donetsk were determined to keep hold of him and succeeded, with the 19-year-old continuing his good form in the Champions League. Plenty of hints surrounding a switch have followed, with the player himself admitting he would love a move to the Emirates Stadium.

He continued his hints on social media on Boxing Day as news broke of the bid from Arsenal for his services, posting several stories on Instagram of him watching the side's 3-1 victory over West Ham. Afterwards, Mikel Arteta was asked about the bid and Mudryk watching the game after, but the Spaniard was tight-lipped on the topic.

Speaking to reporters, Arteta said: "I never speak of players that are not with us… but it’s a good thing for England that you don't have many other games in other countries! Hopefully we gave all the people a good show with this game."

It appears as though it could be just a matter of time before the deal progresses further as the Gunners continue their surge at the top of the table. Mudryk appears to have dropped yet another cryptic hint at a move on Instagram, posting a photo that changes the word "can't" to "can", potentially suggesting the move is possible.

It remains to be seen exactly how long it will take for a deal to happen, with January offering plenty of twists and turns, but it could be a matter of when and not if, as long as Mudryk's cryptic messages are being deciphered correctly.
