Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has broken silence over claims that he is unhappy at the club since making the January transfer switch. The Ukrainian international joined for a fee worth up to £88.5million, snubbing Arsenal after extensive links with a move to north London.
The hijacked move from the Blues came as a surprise to most, but his performances so far haven't quite hit the heights since joining. The 22-year-old had to catch up with the rest of the squad in terms of fitness, having not played for some time before the World Cup with Shakhtar Donetsk.
While things could have been very different for Mudryk, Shakhtar chief Darijo Srna hinted that he could be unhappy, telling the Football Ramble Podcast: "Unfortunately, at Chelsea now he’s not in a good mood, Mykhailo as well, but he has all the qualities to be one of the best players in the Premier League in the next couple of years."

That sparked plenty of discussions over a switch to table-topping Arsenal again as well as a return to Shakhtar Donetsk in the future. However, since then, Mudryk has come out and broken his silence over the claim he is unhappy with a simple message on social media.
Under a post from Chelsea after the defeat to Tottenham, Instagram user @yugiizman commented: "Hello @mmudryk10 are you happy with Chelsea now?" The winger responded with a prompt reply, shutting down any discussions over his unrest by simply saying: "Yes."
It remains to be seen how he will settle into the side long-term as there continues to be uncertainty on and off the pitch with results being poor. If Mudryk can continue to show glimpses of his ability on a regular basis, then things will likely turn around for both him and the side.
