Noisy neighbours can be a nightmare at times, especially if they decide to have a party when you've got to get up early for work in the morning, or if their latest DIY project interrupts your peaceful afternoon. But one woman has been left furious with her neighbours over noise they haven't even made yet - as they're currently expecting a baby and she's dreading the chaos the little one might cause.
The woman explained she lives in a flat with thin walls and can already hear the people who live upstairs whenever they raise their voices. And now that the couple is set to become parents, the woman is considering moving out because she doesn't want to deal with the baby's crying in the future.

In a post on Reddit, she said: "Long story short, a dating couple lives upstairs to me. It's a two-story home divided into upstairs and downstairs apartments. My ceiling/their floor is very thin. I can hear every footstep, which doesn't bother me, and sometimes a conversation or TV if it's loud enough.
"Occasionally, the neighbours will have screaming matches. This morning they had the worst screaming match I have ever heard, with tons of cursing from both sides. I could hear every word clearly, as it was yelled, and apparently, the woman is pregnant. I always assume the man is the bad guy in scream fights, but he was also screaming things like 'this is my kid too' and 'let me drive you to your appointments'.
"I have no idea if they're keeping the baby or staying together, but I'm guessing yes to both. I also have no idea how far along she is, but I'm guessing very early. I absolutely can’t stay here if there’s a crying baby upstairs, the walls are just too thin."
However, the woman, from the US, likes her flat and doesn't want to move out - so is hoping her neighbours decide to find a more family-friendly place to live instead.
She added: "The thing is, I don’t want to move. I like my apartment, I would like to renew my lease. Moving is a huge hassle and so expensive.
"I’m not close enough to the couple to ask any questions, but I’ll hate to have the possibility of having to move and not knowing in the back of my head for the next almost year.
"The apartment may not be approved for families anyway because my lease says the maximum legal occupancy is one person, and our places are the same size - one bedroom, barely more than a studio."
Commenters on the post encouraged the woman to move out of her flat if she isn't happy with her living situation, although some told her she would likely run into similar problems in any other apartment.
One person said: "Yeah, for sure it's time to buy a home. With apartments, no matter where you move, dealing with others is a requirement. Sorry!"
While another added: "If you are having numerous issues then it may be best to move. You can try to tape them and play it back at random times so they hear how they sound. Or speak with the landlord to see if they can help."
