'My teen neighbour's pals kept blocking my drive, so I exposed his hidden habit'

An outraged woman got her own back on her teenage neighbour's 'rude' friends by revealing his secret to his mum.

She explained how the 16-year-old's friends would park in her driveway rather than leave their cars on the side of the road.

Annoyed by their constant misuse of her driveway, she asked the boy to stop his friends from parking on her property. Taking to Reddit, the American woman said: "I went to check my mail last week and saw them all out front and decided to nicely bring it up which was met with eye rolls and fake "okays".

"Monday comes around and I come home to find three of his friends cars taking all the space I have to park. It was a 14 hour day for me so I wasn't having it and made my second approach with intention to make myself very clear and said I'd make it the neighbour's son's problem."

But despite asking him to put a stop to it for a second time, it kept happening so she took matters in to her own hands.

"I went next door and an adult finally answered! I brought up the cars at my place and added a side note their kid never expected," she added.

"He's also been throwing his disposable vapes in my yard and I have the other neighbour as a witness.

"So I casually asked them to make sure that stops and the instant change in expression told me everything I needed to know after I walked away.

"Shortly after his friends left and I can assume they probably won't be back for a while."

Commenting on her 'petty revenge', one user said: "Great job. You probably put things in perspective for his parents.

"He needs to learn how to respect others. Maybe he does usually, but to be disrespectful and have his friends he just as disrespectful would probably lead to arrests.

"Plus he’s littering and thought you wouldn’t find out or turn him in. Hopefully he learns a valuable lesson about respect."

Another user added: "As a former delinquent child, you’re absolutely correct. For me it took a brush with the law to realise that a nice warm home with dinner ready was a better alternative than to run around with other kids breaking the law for fun.

"I managed to get to a somewhat normal place while a lot of the people I hung around ended up with kids way too early, more serious encounters with the law, or dead."

A third user said: "Act like an irresponsible kid instead of a teenager approaching adulthood and you will be treated like an irresponsible kid. Well played on your part."
